Sprints

In short, a sprint is an agreed upon length of time to accomplish a planned amount of work.

We've found that for most of our projects, the sweet spot for sprints is usually around two weeks with an average of 8 points of work assigned per contributor.

Check-ins

Our projects usually have an official mid-sprint check-in ceremony where contributors give updates about their work in progress and any hurdles they may be running into.

These are typically casual and held on Discord in the project's development channel's text chat. We ask that all contributors who won't be in attendance to leave a comment on their issues before their project's check-in ceremony.
