How We Work

We like to organize most of our projects using Agile development principals. The famous quoted four are:

• Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
• Working software/operations over comprehensive documentation
• Community collaboration over contract negotiation
• Responding to change over following a plan

We take a light weight approach to project management and development that is user centered, collaboration based, and most importantly, flexible.

We prefer our teams build and release small chunks of their project functionality incrementally and iteratively, while adjusting what's next based on community feedback.

We encourage our contributors to be independent, self-sustainable, and have an open door policy with each other for collaboration.

• Have a project idea that you think would go well under our Sone banner? Rally up a skill-diverse group of contributors and start your cadences.
• See a bug in production that you know how to fix? Make a merge request on the project, even if you don't usually collaborate with the team.
